Lawyer consultant
A member of the Lyon Bar, Alexandre has spent the past seven years running a legaltech activity, on both the product and sales sides, alongside his legal practice. This dual activity led him to develop an operational view of law, on the basis that legal advice only has value if the client knows how to apply it, and with what means. It is precisely that shift from recommendation to implementation that falls within project management.
At Adventis, he handles the operational running of projects (scoping, coordinating stakeholders, keeping to milestones) and takes charge of the training side, where adoption is actually won or lost. In his view, most legal organisations don't need to pile on more digital or AI solutions, but rather to get the ones they already have talking to each other.
He only recommends tools he has used himself, and builds his own when nothing existing satisfies him. His practice in data protection law, intellectual property and IT contracts gives him a nuanced understanding of the constraints that AI deployment places on legal organisations and IT departments.
